Salinas, CA (June 18, 2013) – Alvarez Technology Group, Inc. (ATG), a leading technology solutions provider, announced today that Eric Angel has been hired as an OpsCenter Technician.
As an OpsCenter Technician, Eric provides immediate remote technical support for clients calling into the help desk. He addresses desktop, network, and server issues, and is experienced with mobile devices. Through past training, he has become skilled with security and email solutions.
“When we were looking to increase the number of Operation Center engineers, I received Eric’s resume and right away I knew he would be a good fit,” explains Curtis Thomas, Director of Managed Services. “Eric came to ATG from a Silicon Valley based company that was engaged in similar technologies. He was already comfortable trouble shooting Cisco-Meraki, Office 365, and SonicWall routers, three technologies we use as solutions. From there, it was easy to see Eric was a good fit. After speaking with him and finding out his main focus was customer service, he was hired. Eric has fit right in and is a great asset in the Operation Center.”
Eric attended Heald College, where he received his Associate’s Degree in
Information Technology in 2010. He currently holds the A+ CE certification.
